What information do we collect?

Comments

Contact Form Submissions

If you choose to email us, we retain the email address provided and any other details provided by you in order to respond to you, should it be necessary. We do not use any information submitted via the contact form for marketing purposes.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

YouTube API services

YouTube videos that are embedded within the pages for Xfire use YouTube API Services, which are subject to the Google Privacy Policy. Xfire stores zero user information in relation to any of your use of the YouTube API Services. The URL of the video you are viewing is stored in a database that is hosted on our servers. Similarly, when you view a video, part of the API also exists as files on our server. Anonymous statistics about the number of times that videos are viewed are recorded by Google and subject to the aforementioned Privacy Policy.

Mediavine Programmatic Advertising (Ver 1.1)

The Website works with Mediavine to manage third-party interest-based advertising appearing on the Website. Mediavine serves content and advertisements when you visit the Website, which may use first and third-party cookies. A cookie is a small text file which is sent to your computer or mobile device (referred to in this policy as a “device”) by the web server so that a website can remember some information about your browsing activity on the Website.
