It's official: Jey Uso has left The Bloodline

The Bloodline has officially crumbled, with The Head of the Table now down two of his most trusted lieutenants.

They say that family is a gift that lasts forever, but in the WWE Universe, where power, fame, and betrayal rule supreme, this gift is as good as a ticking time bomb that will explode at a moment's notice.

Now that Jimmy and Jey Uso have broken off The Bloodline, we're curious to see what they're going to do going forward.

The countdown for the implosion of The Bloodline started when Sami Zayn successfully infiltrated the group before leaving to reunite with Kevin Owens and win the unified tag team belts at WrestleMania 39. Then, after Jimmy and Jey Uso failed to win it back, Roman Reigns took matters into his own hands with Solo Sikoa only to lose, partly as a result of an inadvertent superkick from Jimmy Uso at Night of Champions.

Since then, fans have been waiting for The Twins to officially leave The Bloodline. Now, that has happened.

Sami Zayn, the Honorary Uce, ran into Jey Uso in the backstage before his decision later in the same night.

The thunderous echoes of "Uce" chants reverberated across the Rupp Arena, capturing the tension, anticipation, and drama that had been building on the June 16 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. As the arena plunged into the edge-of-the-seat excitement, the audience was prepared to witness a pivotal moment in wrestling history.

This moment was the culmination of an intense power struggle within The Bloodline, a powerhouse faction that was on the brink of an unprecedented fracture.

Roman Reigns, "The Tribal Chief," flanked by his trusted adviser Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa, stood in the ring. The crowd buzzed as Jey Uso stepped into the arena, carrying a whirlpool of emotions on his face. This confrontation would prove to be a crucial crossroads for Jey, as he was to decide whether to align with Reigns or go against him.

Reigns, in his typically charismatic manner, tried to win Jey over. He painted a picture of grandeur, a vision where Jey would be the leader, ascending the throne of the Tribal Chief, but not just yet. Reigns declared Jey the successor, the one to keep them at the top of the mountain, while casting Jimmy, Jey's brother, as an anchor holding Jey back.

The Tribal Chief's pitch was broken by the unexpected arrival of Jimmy Uso, now portrayed as the antagonist. He was accused of rejecting the idea of Jey becoming the next Tribal Chief, leading to a revelation that not only shocked Jey but also lit the fuse for an explosion within the faction.

Before he asked out, Jey Uso even told Paul Heyman that he should leave The Bloodline.

Amid the escalating tension and more "Uce" chants, Jey's world was turned upside down. The man he looked up to as a brother had doubted him, a truth he found hard to digest. Jey, in an emotional and stirring speech, vented his frustrations and disappointments. He highlighted his journey from living under Jimmy's shadow to emerging as a main-event star. He emphasized how he stepped up during Jimmy's absence and made a name for himself, all with Reigns's guidance.

The confrontation reached its climax as Jey made his groundbreaking decision. "You out...and I'm out too," he said, before delivering a superkick that knocked Reigns to the mat. The crowd erupted as Jey, followed by Jimmy, took down Solo Sikoa and Reigns again, signaling an emphatic and dramatic end to The Bloodline as we knew it.

This decision came as a shock to many, considering how for nearly three years, The Usos had been instrumental in helping Reigns achieve unprecedented success in modern professional wrestling. This journey had seen Jey Uso ascend from an overshadowed twin to a main-eventer on SmackDown and Pay-per-views, and becoming "Main Event Jey Uso."

The implications of this fracture are profound and could alter the dynamics of WWE significantly. The Bloodline, once one of the WWE's untouchables, now stands divided, with its most influential members now standing on the opposite side of the battlefield. As Jey and Jimmy Uso choose to walk away from their cousin, the audience can only brace themselves for the enthralling drama and gripping matches that lie ahead in the WWE.

Now that The Bloodline are down to two fighting members, Roman Reigns is as vulnerable as ever.

It's unclear where Roman Reigns' schedule for Money in the Bank and SummerSlam factors into all of this, but it won't be a surprise to us if the WWE spends the next two PLEs officially breaking up the powerful faction.

Reigns' first title defense post-WrestleMania 39 is set against Rey Mysterio in a non-televised event.

  1. The manipulation in this story line has been fantastic. I love a good brotherly rivalry that seems to be forming.

    1. SAME! I took a break for a few years but now I am watching again. The Usos are amazing!
