Street Fighter 6 is a certified hit with new and veteran SF fans, and unlocking the alternate costumes is one of the major draws.
But how do you unlock them for each character and do it fast? Read on for the comprehensive guides to getting the alternate outfits of the SF6 World Warriors.
How to unlock new costumes in Street Fighter 6?
In order to unlock the alternate costumes of Street Fighter 6 characters, you must play the World Tour single-player campaign mode to meet the characters as NPC Masters and train under them. This mode requires raising the maximum Bond level to 100 for the Masters.
To raise your Bond level, players must join battles to increase ranks while training under the Masters. You can also talk to them frequently, give them gifts you have collected as many times as possible, and complete side quests. If you’ve played Harvest Moon or Stardew Valley, this gameplay mechanic of building relationships with NPCs will look very familiar (although you’re not exactly romancing the Masters… well, maybe Marisa).
One caveat: The methods to unlock the alternate costumes are, admittedly, time-consuming. But there is one other way to accomplish this if you have more cash than time and patience.
Players can buy SF6 costumes in the in-game shop using Fighter Coins in exchange for real money. Each costume can cost 50 Fighter Coins. Fighter Coins are available in the following packs:
- 250 Fighter Coins - $6.99
- 610 Fighter Coins - $11.99
- 1,250 Fighter Coins - $23.99

Ryu – Classic Costume

Luke – Street Costume
Where to find him and become your master:
- Luke is the easiest Master to acquire, as he will automatically become your master at the beginning of the World Tour mode.

- Use Luke’s moves to fight against enemies.
- Win fights against him during sparring activities.
Chun-Li – Classic Costume
Where to find her and become your master:
- Find her in the China Town area.
How to raise Bond level with Chun-Li in World Tour:
- Buy a Canned Herring from the shopkeeper Dora in Nayshall and give it to her as a gift.
- Equip Chun-Li’s moves and use them to fight against enemies.
- Compete with her during sparring activities and win.
Cammy – Classic Costume
Where to find her and become your master:
- You will find her in King’s Street, England (You need to complete the side quest called The Special Unit Del—?).
How to raise Bond level with Cammy in World Tour:
- Buy Jellied Eel from the Merchant Hawker in Bathers Beach and give it to her as a gift.
- Learn Cammy’s fighting styles and use them to fight against enemies.
- Win fights against her during sparring activities.
Manon - Alternate Costume
Where to find her and become your master:
- Travel to France and you will meet her as your master (You must complete the side quest first by defeating the three extras).
How to raise Bond level with Manon in World Tour:
- Buy Beaujolais from the Merchant Hawker in Bathers Beach and give it to her as a gift.
- Equip Manon’s moves and use them to fight against enemies.
- Win fights against her during sparring activities.
Jamie – Street Costume
Where to find him and become your master:
- Find him in the Chinatown at night and defeat some enemies. Go to the rooftop and talk to him and he will become your master.
How to raise Bond level with Jamie in World Tour:
- Buy Bao Bao Bro Sticker from the Merchant Hawker in Bathers Beach and give it to him as a gift.
- Use Jamie’s fighting styles to fight against enemies.
- Win fights against him during sparring activities.
Dee Jay – Classic Costume

- Find him in the Bathers Beach in Jamaica.
How to raise Bond level with Dee Jay in World Tour:

E. Honda – Classic Costume

- Go to the Urban Park and head to the restaurant where you find him and be your master.

- Buy a Rubber Duckies from the Merchant Hawker in Colosseo, Italy and give it to him as a gift.
- Equip E. Honda’s moves and use them to fight against enemies.

Lily – Traditional Costume
Where to find her and become your master:
- Travel to Mexico to fight with her and she will become your master (You need to complete the side quest called The Spirit).

- Buy a Celery Chips from the Merchant Hawker in Bathers Beach and give it to her as a gift.

Marisa – Alternate Costume

Kimberly – Street Costume

- Find her in the Metro City and climb on the rooftop of the police building to meet her and she will become your master (You need to complete the side quest called Scraping the Sky).

- Buy The Answer Lies in the Heart of Love from the Merchant Hawker in Bathers Beach and give it to her as a gift.
- Use Kimberly’s moves to fight against enemies.

Zangief – Classic Costume
Where to find him and become your master:
- Travel to Russia to meet him and he will become your master (You need to complete the side quest called Hither and Tither).

Juri – Classic Costume

JP – Alternate Costume
Where to find him and become your master:
- Go to the Suval'hal Arena Entrance at night to meet him as your master (You must complete first the story of all 15 chapters).
How to raise Bond level with JP in World Tour:
- Buy Antique Playing Cards from the Merchant Hawker in Bathers Beach and give it to him as a gift.
- Equip JP’s moves and use them to fight against enemies.
- Win fights against JP during sparring activities.
