Can you get all the Altars of Lilith in Diablo 4 in a one go?

Here's an extremely detailed map that plots the course to all 160 Altars of Lilith in a single journey in Diablo 4.

Discovering all the Altars of Lilith in Diablo 4 is a tedious task and, for better of worse, it's something that basically all players need to take the time to finish in Diablo 4. However, even the most dedicated completionists will have a hard time doing it, which is why what we're about to show you will come in handy.

To help those who've been having a hard time getting to all the Altars of Lilith in Diablo, Reddit user gogodr has shared a detailed map containing the location of every altar. There are 160 altars in total and players have reportedly used this map to complete the journey in around two hours.

If you follow the map, the long journey starts in Nostrava, one of the central cities in Sanctuary and it will end in Kotama Grasslands in Dry Steppes, located on the upper left side of the map.

The user meticulously charted the course and even highlighted the paths where the player needs to veer away from the main route to get to remote altars. The routes in pink mean that players need to return to the main blue path after getting an altar.

Why are the Altars of Lilith important?

Altars may be hard to spot as they are usually hidden behind other objects.

Each Altar rewards players with a permanent stat buff to all the characters on the account in that area, which means that all subsequent characters will be a lot stronger from level one onwards.

This is crucial, seeing as Blizzard is basically asking players to start new characters every time a new season is released in Diablo 4.

The maximum permanent stat bonuses that you can acquire, if you find all 160 Altars of Lilith, are as follows:

  • Strength: +68
  • Intelligence: +68
  • Willpower: +68
  • Dexterity: +68
  • Maximum Obol Capacity: +100
  • Paragon Points: +4

On top of the bonus stats, which accumulate as you discover more and more altars, players are rewarded 10 Renown points for each altar found, for a total of 1,600 points. Players also receive small amount of XP for each alter discovered, which helps with leveling up.

Getting all the altars counts towards the completion of the Region Progress Rewards. Completing all the Renown challenges will reward players with an additional +20 paragon points.

Each altar gives a permanent stat buff to all characters on the player's account.

Players can also complete the Altar of Lilith Seeker challenge by finding all the altars in a single region, which unlocks the Wily and Seeker Diablo 4 Player Titles. Grabbing all 160 altars will complete the Altar of Lilith Collector challenge, giving you the Treasure and Hoarder titles.

Getting the bonus stat points is reason enough to find all the altars. However, the +20 Paragon points from completing all the Region Progress Rewards will go a long way in boosting the power of any character. Blizzard also recently confirmed that the Altars of Lilith and the Region Progress Rewards will not be reset in the upcoming season as initially planned.

One thing we absolutely must mention though: try to take the journey of finding all the altars only after getting your mount! It will take much longer to hit all 160 altars on foot. We took the journey only after unlocking our mount, which is possible only after completing Act III of the story.

When you start on Act IV, you'll be back in Kyovashad on the Master’s Touch quest. Simply do that and then the "Mount: Donan’s Favor" quest will become available. Just speak to the Stable Master in Kyovashad to get it.
