Warner Bros. Discovery finally debuted the first official trailer for The Flash at Super Bowl LVII. Audiences have barely been able to recover from seeing Michael Keaton finally return as Batman after all these years. But, while the footage showed us both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton appearing as Batman, fans believe they've spotted proof that ‎Andy Muschietti is still hiding one more secret up his sleeve.
A handful of DC fans who obviously have too much time on their hands have gone online to scrutinize every second of the trailer and they believe they saw Christian Bale's Dark Knight in it. Specifically, they're pointing to the Batman and Batmobile that appears at the 1:55 mark of the trailer. Others also noted that there are elements in The Flash reminiscent of the Dark Knight trilogy, or to be more precise, the first film that started it all, Batman Begins.
Of course, not everyone is sold on Christian Bale appearing as Batman. Some believe that the several shots that appear like Christian Bale look similar to Ben Affleck as well.

With that said, the Dark Knight actor previously mentioned he's open to returning for a fourth Batman film. Unfortunately, his sole condition is that Christopher Nolan should be the one to direct it. This should shoot down the rumors that he'll be in The Flash. However, there's a difference between lending his talents to Warner Bros. for a few minutes if only to make his fans happy.
Coincidentally, earlier reports about The Flash compare its quality to the critically-acclaimed Christopher Nolan trilogy.
Ultimately, we won't know for sure if Christian Bale is in The Flash or not until the movie hits theaters on June 16. Until then, we'll just have to wait and see. Fingers crossed, Batbale, Batfleck, BatKeaton are all in The Flash and it's as good as everyone is making it out to be.
For now, DC fans can look forward to watching the next movie on the outgoing cinematic universe's slate, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, which premieres on March 17.
