Xbox Game Studios and inXile Entertainment have just announced a first-person RPG that gives off some serious BioShock Infinite vibes.

Clockwork Revolution, the newest time-bending steampunk game to hit the market, was officially announced at the Xbox Games Showcase and instantly became a hit in the gaming community.
Set in the Victorian-era city of Avalon, the game whisks players away into a world where steam trains fly through the skies, people adorn ornate clockwork prosthetics, and intricate mechanics ensure the smooth operation of the bustling metropolis.
Unknowingly, the citizens of Avalon are at the mercy of Lady Ironwood, a ruthless maverick with a time travel device that she uses to manipulate crucial moments in Avalon's history, perpetuating the plight of the working class within slums and factories while amassing immeasurable wealth and influence for herself.
However, upon uncovering this sinister truth, the player assumes the role of a time traveler armed with a Chronometer, enabling them to journey into the past, shape its course, and subsequently return to the present to witness the profound consequences of their choices firsthand.
Clockwork Revolution is set to be the first AAA title from inXile Entertainment. The American video game developer, now a part of Xbox Game Studios, gained recognition for Wasteland 2, a post-apocalyptic RPG, and Torment: Tides of Numenera, the spiritual successor to 1999's Planescape: Torment. Both games were backed by successful Kickstarter campaigns, with the latter receiving over $4 million in crowdfunding.
While a specific release date for the game has yet to be announced, Clockwork Revolution will be available to play on Xbox Series X/S and PC via Steam.
