The Bloodline segment sets new record for Friday Night SmackDown

The father of The Usos and Solo Sikoa are proud of the numbers that the group's storyline is pulling up right now.

It's no secret The Bloodline storyline is stirring up quite the storm. Fans are hooked on the ongoing saga that's managed to capture the imagination of WWE audiences for the better part of the past three years. There's a good reason why the WWE keeps on going back to it. As per the latest data, the overarching wrestling narrative saw a significant jump in TV ratings and live event attendance.

We'll find out on June 9 if The Usos will fall in line or stand against Roman Reigns.

The June 2 Friday Night SmackDown saw Solo Sikoa initially try to side with his brothers, Jimmy and Jey Uso, before hitting Jimmy and ultimately choosing his cousin, Roman Reigns.

This particular episode has racked up over 40 million views across different social media platforms, which the WWE says is now "the most socially watched segment" of the year so far.

The segment was so popular that the WWE Hall of Famer, Rikishi, whose trio of sons play a key role in the storyline, wasn't afraid to be a proud dad on social media

The June 2 episode of WWE SmackDown had a special celebration as well. As Roman Reigns celebrates his 1,000th day as the WWE Universal Champion, Triple H came on stage to congratulate him and commemorate this event with a new title belt. Instead of having to hold both the WWE Championship and the WWE Universal Championship, Roman Reigns is now the proud holder of the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Paul Heyman threatens that there'll be severe consequences if The Usos don't listen to Roman Reigns.

It remains unclear when the WWE plans to make Roman Reigns drop his now-singular title belt. Judging by the numbers, we shouldn't expect to see Cody Rhodes, or anyone else, dethrone Reigns anytime soon.

The drama is set to continue this Friday on the June 9 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Here, Jey Uso will need to make a choice about his loyalty - his twin, Jimmy, or the Roman Reigns-led Bloodline.

It's definitely clear Reigns hasn't forgiven The Usos yet for accidentally attacking him, causing him to lose his first match in a long while at the Night of Champions.

Is this the start of Roman Reigns' downfall as The Tribal Chief?

Roman Reigns is expected to be at Money in the Bank on July 1. However, there are conflicting reports about what the WWE's plans for him are. It's believed that Roman Reigns will defend his belt at both Money in the Bank and SummerSlam. The latter makes sense since Cody Rhodes' feud with Brock Lesnar isn't expected to end until then. But, we're curious to find out who Reigns will face off against at Money in the Bank if it's in a single match. Our bet is on Jimmy Uso, who has since started referring to himself as The Tribal Chief.
